5/26 - So far, so good

I cleaned the kitchen today. That, in and of itself, is not that monumental.

After making and eating dinner, I loaded the dishwasher, washed the pots and pans, and wiped down the counter and over. That is monumental.

Camera purchase has been put on hold. I’m thinking that for my birthday I’m going to get a really nice point and shoot – you can take beautiful pics with a PNS if you do it right. So… this one is on hold for a while.

TV > Camera?

It’s amazing that when you have some disposable income to spend at your leisure, you discover what is really important to you. If I’d had my way – we would have saved it for a car or paying of the second mortgage or something more practical. Phil really wanted a digital SLR. I really think it was all a ploy to soften me up to the idea of a new TV.

We stopped in Circuit City last night to look at TVs, and somehow magically walked out with a Samsung 46” 1080p LCD TV. So, here’s a picture of the “camera” we purchased. Maybe someday…

Art Van

Phil and I have already picked out our bedset at Art Van furniture (artvan.com). It’s beautiful and reasonably priced. We should be getting it sometime in June!

Canon Rebel XTi

Phil and I are thinking of purchasing the Canon Digital Rebel XTi 10.1MP Digital SLR Camera (Black). I’m thinking of passing on the kit lens and buying one with image stabilization (EF-S 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 IS)
